Winnie’s School of Excellence, “WSE,” “we,” “our,” provides courses, memberships, webinars, coaching, digital downloads, and physical products to a global audience from our base in Nigeria. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. Information you provide

  • Identity and contact details, such as name, email, phone, billing and shipping addresses.
  • Account details, such as username, profile photo, course enrollments, membership status, preferences.
  • Communications and submissions, such as support requests, survey responses, assignments, forum posts, testimonials, and webinar Q&A.
  • Payment details collected at checkout by our payment processors. WSE does not store full card numbers or CVV.

  • Device and usage data, such as IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed, features used, session timestamps, and referrers.

2) How and why we use information

  • Deliver services: create and manage your account, give you access to courses and communities, issue certificates, fulfill orders, and provide membership benefits.
  • Process payments: verify and complete transactions through secure payment processors.
  • Communicate with you: confirmations, reminders, learning updates, service announcements, policy changes, and marketing messages that you can opt out of at any time.
  • Improve and secure our platform: analytics, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, quality assurance, and feature development.
  • Comply with law: record keeping, responding to lawful requests, managing disputes, and enforcing our Terms of Use.

3) Payments and security

We rely on trusted payment providers that are independently audited for PCI DSS Level 1, the highest certification level in the payments industry. WSE does not store full card details. Payment information is sent directly to the processor. Paystack+1

5) How we share information

We do not sell personal data. We share data with:

  • Vendors and service providers who help us operate the platform, process payments, send emails, host video, deliver webinars, provide analytics, and support customers.
  • Instructors, moderators, and community managers to support learning and safety.
  • Event partners or sponsors when you opt in to a specific program or collaboration.
  • Authorities or legal recipients where required by law, to protect rights, safety, property, or to enforce agreements.
  • Business successors in the event of a restructuring or asset transfer.

6) International transfers

We operate in Nigeria and serve a global audience. Your data may be processed outside your country. We apply contractual safeguards, access controls, and other measures designed to protect your data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act .cert.gov.ng

7) Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described, including legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When retention ends, we delete or irreversibly anonymize the data.

8) Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit, strong access controls, least-privilege permissions, secure development practices, vendor due diligence, and ongoing security reviews. 10) Children and students

Our site is intended for people who can form a binding contract. Some programs for minors may be made available through a parent or legal guardian who must complete enrollment and manage permissions. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without verifiable guardian consent. If we learn that a child submitted data without proper consent, we will delete it.

11) Community features and user content

If you participate in communities, forums, webinars, coaching calls, or chat, information you share may be visible to instructors, moderators, and other participants. Do not post sensitive data in public areas. Your use of these features must follow our Terms of Use.

12) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or the law. When changes are material we will post a notice and update the Effective Date.
